Yoga Nidra Workshops:
Through a guided meditation, the physical body is led into a relaxed sleep state while the mind remains alert and aware. Participants are invited to call forth a "Sankalpa" - a deep aspiration or intention (e.g. "I am healthy"; "I am happy"; "I am grateful"; "I am love") which is infused into this higher state of consciousness.
Sarah invites you to broaden your yoga practice by discovering this ancient practice of Yoga Nidra. Workshops begin with gentle yoga poses to prepare for a guided meditation while resting in an extended Savasana. By tapping into the subconscious, participants unleash the potential of their minds to be more focused, calm, creative and happy.

All levels are welcome. Please bring a mat and any props you need to lie comfortably in Savasana for 30 minutes (blanket, bolster, pillow, etc.) Yoga Nidra is equivalent to 4 hours of deep, restful sleep.
